About the book
The book is compiled on the basis of the bankruptcy and insolvency code 2016, rules, regulations, notifications and other directions issued. The aim is to help the readers in understanding the basics and it is not aimed at providing any legal advice in interpreting the Code 2016 for which specific and specialized advice should be obtained.
1. Mr. Sunil Girotra: A retired banker having worked upto DGM level in a big public sector bank for about 37 years, his experience in field of banking comprise all areas of banking fro operational to credit side including corporate finance and in the senior positions from branch head to regional head. A post graduate from University of Delhi, he has also legal background with LLB qualification and a diploma in personnel management. Post retirement, besides teaching in areas of banking, he is involved in charitable activities for the poor sections of the society. 2. Mr. Brij Bhushan Khattar: An Alumni of Shri Ram College of Commerce, he has vast experience in banking having worked for a big public sector bank for 38 years. He worked upto DGM level in different capacities viz. branch head, regional head and as audit head also besides in other administrative and operational areas. He has professional qualification of CAIIB also. Post retirement, he is involved in the field of teaching in banking related subjects. 3. Mr. Surinder Kumar Bhatia: A retired banker, who has worked in a public sector bank for 38 years upto DGM level from branch head to regional head level, possesses vast experience in all areas of banking from the operational side to the field of credit from corporate credit to microfinance. Working across the country in different states which include Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat and Maharashtra and corporate offices, his special interests include financial inclusion, financial literacy and the field of small and micro credit. He has further experience of working with NBFCs and Microfinance institution for five years. He is involved in imparting training in banking related subjects through college and training centers. He is M.Com from Delhi University and has professional qualification of CAIIB.
