Education in general and Theological education in particular is the whole process of thoughts, writings, teachings, learning and application into the given context of an individual, family, church and society. New thoughts come into the old territory giving new insights and changes take place. There is always a hermeneutical tension as the old school of thought, the previous world-view, traditions, systems and methods are challenged in order to give new thoughts. Therefore, as someone has said, ‘education is a life-process of learning’ and as educated men and women we need to be open to teaching-learning of the vast knowledge in the world considering the past, present and the future course of human events and environment. ‘Education is the weapon to defeat the evils that prevail in the society’. Rev. Dr. Koningthung Ngoru Moyon is a member of Penaching Baptist Church, belongs to Moyon Naga Tribe, and hails from Chandel district, Manipur, currently serving as Executive Secretary at Moyon Naga Baptist Association (MYNBA), Manipur, India. Currently, he is also the Chairman of Manipur Baptist Convention (MBC) Education Committee. He is the General Secretary of Chandel District Baptist Fellowship (CDBF), Chandel. Prior to this, he served as Church affairs co-ordinator and deacon at Penaching Baptist Church; and as Pastor in Church ministry. He had finished his formal theological education with Master of divinity (M. Div) from Kor-In Theological College and Seminary, Kolar, Karnataka; Master of Theology (M.Th.) from Faith Theological College, Dimapur, Nagaland; Doctor of Ministry (D. Min) from Patriot Bible College, Colorado (USA); Doctor of Divinity (D.D) from V. O. C. Theological Institute-India.
