The writer, Lagnajita Chatterjee heralds from Asansol, West Bengal. She has completed her schooling from Assembly of God Church School, Asansol, and is a Post-Graduate from the University of Burdwan.She has been in the teaching profession for the last sixteen years and is currently working in one of the esteemed schools of Navi Mumbai, Maharashtra.The implication of the name ‘Lagnajita’ stands for ‘one who has conquered time’. Being a strong believer in the ideals of Swami Vivekananda, she follows the motto, “Arise, awake, stop not till the goal is reached.”Therefore, the ‘conqueress of time’ with a lot of faith and determination, has decided to reach her goal by conquering the hearts of millions of readers through her short stories which are blended with the spices of imagination, humour, and strangeness all around.The morning sun mesmerizes her, the red hibiscus enchants her.
