From Kashmir to Kanyakumari, from Gujarat to Arunachal Pradesh, I love my India. Grown up in the coal field city of Asansol,I have seen around me hard working men and women who at the the same time, were equally passionate about literature and culture. My mother,a Post Graduate,Phd (Gold Medalist) in Bengali Literature and father, a banker had always inculcated in me the taste for reading. Be it Shakespeare to Frost, Rabindranath Tagore to Satyajit Ray, traditional to modern writers, they taught me to respect them and their style of writing. Carrying a sense of humour inside me,I greeting people with smiles, talking to various kinds of people and travelling places help me gather experiences and ideas for my stories. As Albert Einstein said, "Logic will take you from A to B; imagination will take you everywhere," befits my personality and stories well. Thus, with the joy of writing,I started releasing the ideas in Pen and Paper and my eccentric mind felt light and happy. With an aim to make children and adults smile, not be bereft of imagination, I brought my stories in the form of books. Quoting Frost,I end, "I shall be telling this with a sigh Somewhere ages and ages hence: Two roads diverged in a wood, and I— I took the one less traveled by, And that has made all the difference.
